Jude Allen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Sydney University, majoring in pharmacology. Her post-graduate experience includes: responsibility for emergency clinical chemistry at Prince of Wales Hospital, research positions at Sydney and Prince Henry Hospitals, and as a tutor in the School of Physiology and Pharmacology at UNSW while studying for her doctorate in neurophysiology. Jude abandoned study for parenting, which she found more challenging! On her return to the paid workforce, Jude combined part-time employment as practice manager with volunteer work as a contact parent for the NSW Association for Gifted and Talented Children.

Jude joined GERRIC in March 2001. She is currently studying towards an Arts degree at UNSW.
