About - Staff - Sandra Hepenstall

 

Sandra Hepenstall holds a BA in Social Sciences, a Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Psychology, and a MPsych specialising in Educational Psychology.

She currently works with GERRIC as a psychologist, assessing intellectually gifted children. Prior to joining GERRIC in March 2001, Sandra worked as a psychologist at the Krongold Centre, Monash University and completed a clinical placement at the Developmental Disabilities Unit, Monash Medical Centre. As well as her experience working with gifted children, Sandra has worked with children presenting with a range of difficulties, including intellectual and learning disabilities, ADHD, autism and Asperger Syndrome.

Sandra has completed a thesis on fears in gifted children and has a special interest in creative children.
