APTS & ASSETSThe APTS & ASSETS programs is being reassessed in 2008 and will not be running. GERRIC is seeking to improve the program and reinstate it for 2009. If you would like to contribute any ideas for improving the program, please send an e-mail to "gerric@unsw.edu.au". The Australian Primary Talent Search (APTS) and The Australian Secondary Schools Educational Talent Search (ASSETS) are nationwide testing programs for academically gifted school students in Years 3-9. APTS and ASSETS have the aim of identifying students who need additional challenge in their education in order to fully realise their academic potential and achieve in the schooling context. APTS and ASSETS were initiated by the Gifted Education Research, Resource and Information Centre (GERRIC) at The University of New South Wales, in association with the Belin-Blank International Centre for Gifted Education and Talent Development at The University of Iowa. |
