TeachersGERRIC offers a range of courses and programs for teachers wanting to increase their skills in catering for gifted and talented students. Opportunities include Inservices (professional development courses of varying length) covering practical aspects of teaching gifted students, the postgraduate Certificate of Gifted Education, Master Classes in gifted education and consultancies. For further information about these programs, please contact GERRIC on (02) 9385 1972 or email gerric@unsw.edu.au. Additionally, GERRIC offers a range of resources, including audio-tapes, books and annotated bibliographies, that may be used by teachers to further their understanding of the nature of gifted children.
