TeachersGERRIC offers a range of courses and programs for teachers wanting to increase their skills in catering for gifted and talented students. Opportunities include professional development courses covering practical aspects of teaching to gifted students, the Certificate of Gifted Education, Master Classes in Gifted Education, and inservice opportunities. For further information about GERRIC inservices, please contact GERRIC on (02) 9385 1972 or email "gerric@unsw.edu.au". Additionally, GERRIC offers a range of resources, including audio-tapes, books and annotated bibliographies, that may be used by teachers to further their understanding of the nature of gifted children. GERRIC is delighted to announce a new series of seminars for parents and teachers. 6 seminars will be held at UNSW between October to March presenters by leaders in gifted education.
